Spring is here and summer is quickly approaching (right here down under)...
It's crazy!...
It seems just like yesterday it was the winter holiday season.
I don't know about you, but I prefer this time of year WAY more than winter.
However it's not because of the weather…
(here down under I don't have much to complain about as far as our winter weather is concerned)
The reason I like this time of year so much more is because of the "romantic" energy in the air.
It has always seemed like to me, that spring and summer are the most passionate seasons of the year.
Women seem to flirt more, wear more revealing clothing and just in general seem more in the mood for "love".
I couldn't find many stats to back this up beyond my personal experience…
But a report indicated historically (1778-1940), in northern America climates, there is a peak birth rate in late winter and an annual low rate in the summer.
This pattern indicates more people are "getting it on" in late spring and early summer, than in late summer and fall.
As the famous poet, Alfred Lord Tennyson, once said…
"In the spring a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love"
